Great food! Real dive bar feel. The cooks really do care about their food and they have unique specials.
Service was super speedy and our waitress was really attentive to our timing (waiting for a boat to leave). Great deals, too!
Outrageously delicious burgers
Regular accused me of stealing $20 and told me to pay him $40 to make it even. When I refused he threatened to "pop me in the jaw." When I went inside to close out my tab he then did assault me and the bartenders blamed me for the assault telling me "I must have said something to him." Drinks are welled poor and inexpensive. Close to the lake and a decent patio section although every table was sticky. I don't mind aggressive drunks, you can find one or two at most bars, but I think it was incredibly unprofessional to blame the person who was assaulted for the altercation. Probably a one off experience but I would not recommend this location to anyone, even as a dive bar.
Decent tap beer selection
Food is good bar food but service is atrocious. We've been before but when we went in there today 1/2 the tables were empty and 2 people were at the bar. Nobody acknowledged us for 5 minutes and when the server took our drink order and saw us looking at menus, she told us it would take at least 1/2 hour for food because they, "have a small kitchen". Don't see how this is possible when they have 3 Cooks working and the place is at 1/2 capacity. Its like they don't even care or try anymore. Went to Jake O'Connors and had a great lunch.
